Our client is a cryptocurrency-focused platform providing users with tools and solutions for engaging with digital assets and financial markets. The company operates at the intersection of crypto and fintech, aiming to simplify access to trading and investment opportunities for a global audience.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong understanding of the cryptocurrency and fintech landscape. This is a fully remote position focused on driving partnerships, expanding the client base, and identifying new business opportunities within crypto, trading, and high-risk verticals.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strategic relationships with partners (brokers, affiliates, PSPs, liquidity providers), managing the sales pipeline, and contributing to revenue growth through new market expansion.

The role requires working within the European time zone and collaborating with a distributed international team.

Responsibilities

  • Partnership Development:
    Identify, approach, and onboard new partners including brokers, affiliates, PSPs, and crypto platforms.
  • Client Acquisition & Sales:
    Drive B2B sales by sourcing and closing new clients in crypto, fintech, and high-risk verticals.
  • Market Expansion:
    Analyze new markets, geographies, and verticals to identify growth opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners, ensuring high retention and revenue growth.
  • Deal Structuring & Negotiation:
    Lead negotiations on commercial terms, partnerships, and integrations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and execution.
  • Performance Tracking:
    Monitor KPIs, sales funnel metrics, and revenue performance; optimize strategies based on data.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business development / sales within crypto, fintech, payments, or high-risk industries (gambling, forex, crypto)
  • Strong understanding of:

    • Crypto ecosystem (wallets, exchanges, on/off-ramp)
    • Payments and PSP landscape
    • Affiliate / partner-driven growth models
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and partnership building
  • Experience working in remote / distributed teams
  • Fluent English (C1+) is mandatory
  • Must be located within or able to work in the European time zone
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
