About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist with at least 2 years of experience in finance or financial analysis and mandatory experience in acquiring.
The role focuses on analyzing financial and transactional data, reconciling payment operations, identifying discrepancies, and investigating their root causes.
The ideal candidate goes beyond routine operational tasks, understands how acquiring and settlement processes work, and can identify patterns, resolve complex issues, and suggest process improvements.
• Reconcile transaction registers, payment operations, commissions, and settlements.
• Analyze financial and transactional data to identify discrepancies, errors, and unusual operations.
• Investigate reconciliation differences and determine their root causes.
• Verify the accuracy and consistency of financial and operational records.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and potential operational issues.
• Work with acquiring-related financial data, banking operations, and settlement information.
• Resolve complex financial and operational discrepancies independently.
• Prepare and maintain reconciliation reports and supporting calculations.
• Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Suggest practical improvements to existing financial processes and data analysis workflows.
At least 2 years of experience as a Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst, or in a similar finance-related position.
• Hands-on experience in acquiring is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of acquiring processes, banking operations, and settlements.
• Practical experience reconciling transaction registers, commissions, and payouts.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large volumes of financial data.
• Proven ability to identify discrepancies, investigate errors, and analyze unusual transactions.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data processing tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex operational issues.
• Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and ownership of results.
