An international FinTech company developing payment infrastructure and working with clients across various industries, including high-risk verticals. The company is actively expanding its payment partner network and is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to support this growth.

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager responsible for identifying, onboarding, and developing relationships with payment partners — banks, acquirers, payment providers, and other financial institutions.
The main goal is to expand the company’s payment coverage and build new payment rails based on business and client needs — from identifying the right partner and negotiating commercial terms to integration and go-live.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new payment partners, including banks, acquirers, payment providers, and other financial institutions.
• Build and grow long-term relationships with existing partners.
• Identify new payment methods, acquiring routes, and solutions to expand payment coverage.
• Negotiate commercial terms and partnership models.
• Coordinate the full partner onboarding lifecycle: pre-checks, commercial terms, legal and compliance documentation, integration, and go-live.
• Lead new payment solution launches together with Tech, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Act as the main point of contact for operational partner requests, changes, and ongoing development.
• Conduct market research to identify new banks, acquirers, payment providers, and payment infrastructure opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events and develop a strong professional network.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Business Development / Partnerships within FinTech, Payments, Banking, Acquiring, or Processing.
• Hands-on experience working with high-risk payment verticals is required.
• Proven experience sourcing and onboarding banks, acquirers, or other payment providers.
• Strong understanding of payment infrastructure, acquiring, processing, and payment flows.
• Experience managing partner onboarding from initial negotiations through technical go-live.
• Experience negotiating commercial terms and working closely with Compliance and Legal teams.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• An existing network of banks, acquirers, and payment providers will be a strong advantage.
• High level of ownership and ability to work independently.
• Russian — native; English — working proficiency.
• Candidates based in Riga will be given priority; candidates holding a valid EU residence permit will also be considered.
